Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225), ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / al-Nāṣir li-dīn / Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. al-Nasir li-din Allah’ in Arabic); partly illegible marginal mint and date formula. Rev. ‘al-sulṭān al-aʿẓam / ʿAlā al-Dunyā wa al-D/īn Abuʾl-Fatḥ / Muḥammad ibn sulṭān / Takish’ (‘The supreme sultan ʿAla al-Dunya wa al-Din Abuʾl-Fath Muhammad, son of Sultan Takish’ in Arabic); illegible marginal legend.
